Reaching Your Destiny is truly an
inspirational book, which is a must read book for people who wishes to fulfill
their dreams, control their anger and who wants to lead a happy life. It's a self-help book that would help the readers to
understand some vital principals to lead a peaceful, successful and an
enlightened life. Life lesson from
this book can be read in other books of the same author like- Who will cry,

Summary:
This story revolves around Julian Mantle,
a successful lawyer who is transformed into a monk. His life changes as he
discovers ancient Indian culture. During this he learns that valued time as the
most important thing in a man’s life and how to cherish relationship and
develop positive and joyful thought as to lead a happy life.
John, a good friend and his co-worker
narrates the story. This story starts with the introduction of the lavish and
happy life of Julian, his exaggerated courtroom drama, which makes the front
page in newspaper, also about his lavish lifestyles and his night life in the
finest restaurants in the city.
The story changes its mood as the great
lawyer faints in the courtroom once, sweating and shivering. His obsession to
work has caused him a heart attack. For the last few years he was working hard
day and night without caring about his mental and physical health to become a
successful lawyer. This also made him look much older than he is. He was
admitted to hospital and there he refused meet anyone, his friends or
relatives. Following his heart attack he sold all his property including his Red
Ferrari. One fine day he ran away from the hospital without anyone’s knowledge
and leaves to India.
For three years, no one knew anything
about the him. But in these three he was transformed into a physically healthy
man with a strong spiritual mind.
Finally after a long period of time he
returns back, where he tells his friend (author) ,John about his Indian
odyssey. He speaks about how he met the sages of Siwana who had a life changing
effect on him. He tells John about the Leader of the sages of Siwana, Yogi
Raman who taught him his secret of living happily and fulfilling ones dreams.
He also describes about other life lessons he got from them, which are
worthwhile.
